Press Release

WASHINGTON –  Last night, the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee named Congressman TJ Cox to the House Committee on Natural Resources. The Committee on Natural Resources oversees federal conservation projects, energy and mineral resource management, our national parks and public lands, endangered species preservation, and critically to the Central Valley, water management. Congressman TJ Cox released the following statement:

“I am honored to be named to this post where I will work each and every day to protect and enhance the Central Valley’s access to clean water for our communities. Our way of life depends on it, but today, thousands of our residents still don’t have access to safe, fresh drinking water. This is unacceptable, and I will use my seat at the table to tackle this problem and protect the Valley’s natural resources.”
