TJ Cox Awarded the “Spirit of Enterprise” by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced that Representative TJ Cox (CA-21) was awarded the “Spirit of Enterprise” award by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his support for pro-business legislation, bipartisan leadership, and constructive governing. This is the 32nd year that the Chamber of Commerce has formally recognized select members of Congress for supporting pro-growth policies and supporting American businesses.
"As a businessman and engineer, I understand how important it is to foster economic growth and prosperity in the Central Valley, especially in rural areas. I joined Congress to work with anyone and everyone and I've been proud to work across the aisle extensively to get results for our communities," said Rep. Cox.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce CEO Thomas J. Donohue had this to say on the award;
"In these uncertain times with daunting economic and social challenges facing our nation, it is imperative that leaders in Washington are focused on propelling American businesses forward to create jobs and economig growth from California to MAine," said CEO Donohue. "As we rebuild our economy, legislators must lead by pursuing bipartisan solutions that create jobs and promote a free enterprise system.
